Nuts

These are often avoided by dieters due to concerns with fat content. However, nuts such as walnuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios, hazelnuts and Brazil nuts all contain good fats, iron and other essential minerals, so don’t ignore these nutritious powerhouses.

 

Dried Fruit & Seed

Avoid cereal bars as these contain added sugar. Instead consider sunflower seeds & dried apricots, raisins & dried cranberries.

 

Dark Chocolate or Liquorice
