Like the idea of wearing the latest technology but it doesn’t go with your outfit? Well luckily for you Google Glass, Fitbit and other companies have collaborated with some fashion designers to create something that is functional and on trend!


MICA bracelet by Intel & Opening Ceremony

Intel have partnered up with brand Opening Ceremony to create this feminine bracelet. The MICA (which stands for My Intelligent Communication Accessory) is made with premium materials like watersnake skin and semi-precious stones.

MICA will be available in selected stores soon and will enable women to stay connected via SMS messages, meeting alerts and other features to be released at a later date.


Rebecca Minkoff charger bracelet

For a Spring/Summer 2015 release, designer Rebecca Minkoff has joined forces with Case-Mate and has created a collection of functional and wearable bracelets, with the one shown being able to charge and sync your mobile device. Bracelet will be available in a variety of colours.

Another design from the Rebecca Minkoff collection will be the notification bracelet. This will connect to your phone via Bluetooth and alert you to incoming texts and calls.


Google Glass with a little help by Diane von Furstenberg

Fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg has teamed up with Google Glass to try and create a more chic look to the geeky eyewear. Glass are also looking to collaborate with Ray-Ban and Oakley.

The classy Moto 360 Smartwatch looks just like a traditional watch, though it has a variety of capabilities including taking voice commands, accessing your email, calendar, notifying of incoming call and texts and much more. But this one’s just for the Android users and is currently sold out!


Tory Burch for Fitbit Flex

Tory Burch has joined up with Fitbit, a health and fitness company, to design a range of feminine accessories to incorporate the fitness tracker called Fitbit Flex.

The wristband/bracelet will track how many steps you take in a day, your calories burned, how much sleep you have and more, with stats being accessible on your smartphone. There is also a gold brass pendant necklace available. Accessories and tracker are sold separately.


JUNE bracelet by Netatmo

Be ‘Sun Savvy’ with JUNE bracelet by Netatmo. This is the first commercial bracelet to measure the sun’s UV intensity and tells you when you had too much exposure by syncing to your Smartphone via an app. JUNE will suggest an appropriate SPF cream for your skin determined by the current UV levels, remind you when to put a sunhat and sunglasses on, and when to move into the shade. The JUNE jewel comes in 3 colours – platinum, gold and gunmetal with a leather or premium silicon wrapband.
