Next mission: create internet everywhere on the planet

Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, says that his next project will be the creation of a network of smaller, more affordable satellites that enable it to offer Internet connection anywhere in the world.

Apparently, Musk is working together with Greg Wyler, a former Google employee with experience in the satellite business and a few years ago they started looking to create something new.

The plan is to release a network of 700 satellites, ten times larger than the largest network orbiting the earth but with smaller and less heavy models. Putting everything in operation, the cost will be approximately $ 1,000 million.

We are curious to see how much time it will take and if Musk and Wyler will be able to accomplish their new project, so that everybody will be reachable via internet, no matter where you are.
